Utilized by MACDON, the major North American manufacturer of agricultural swather and header equipment.

Conversion from the steel weldment fabrication (8 welded components) to a casting saved 44% in costs and provided improved cosmetics and functionality. The customer was also experiencing failures with the weldment and has experienced no failures to date with the new casting. The casting also incorporates features that would be very difficult or impossible to incorporate in a weldment fabrication.
